The spiritual practices, weekly readings, and questions for reflection are designed to propel you toward growth in peacefulness and effectiveness in truly loving the people around you. This book is a tool to guide you through this season of preparation. It will challenge you to intentionally enter into a concentrated season of growth. The intitial chapters will guide you as you choose one area of your life to be transformed by a daily spiritual practice. Then weekly readings throughout the season of Lent will support your growth as you reflect on your relationship with God in light of your spiritual practice. This book may be used for individual prayer and study, or as material for weekly discussions for small groups. Along the way the readings and Bible study discussions support progress toward the great affirmations of Easter.
