Esto sucedía ya hace más de cien años, cuando el autor, Edward S. Morse, decidió investigar sobre el tema.En este libro presentamos los dos tratados que escribió al respecto. El primero de ellos fue publicado en 1885 con el título Ancient and Modern Methods of Arrow Release, y el segundo, en 1922, con el título Additional notes on arrow release.A todos los amantes de la arquería tradicional y en particular de la arquería asiática, en la que está muy extendida la técnica de suelta con el pulgar, este libro les proporcionará una abundante y valiosa información tanto sobre las diferentes técnicas, anillos o «disparadores» como sobre los distintos culatines y puntas utilizados en función de cada técnica particular de tiro.Un libro clásico de arquería que no debería faltar en la biblioteca de cualquier arquero. 10
