Il sito di social network Snapchat sta diventando sempre più popolare tra i giovani adulti, così come lo studio del narcisismo nella popolazione non clinica. Di conseguenza, ci si chiede se esista una relazione tra il tratto del narcisismo e i post su Snapchat nei giovani adulti. Il presente studio ha utilizzato l’analisi di regressione per valutare la relazione tra narcisismo e post su Snapchat tra i partecipanti di età compresa tra i 18 e i 25 anni (N=91). È il primo studio che esamina la relazione tra il narcisismo, le convinzioni dei partecipanti e il social media Snapchat in particolare. I risultati hanno rivelato che non esiste una relazione tra narcisismo e post su Snapchat. Tuttavia, la convinzione dei partecipanti che i loro amici siano interessati a vedere ciò che fanno ha predetto in modo significativo i post su Snapchat, in particolare le foto/video di sé.
