J’habite à Paris dans le Quartier Latin...Je ne suis qu’un humain, un petit fragment éphémère du code et de l’histoire de la nature dans un cosmos de feu, de lumière et d’espace qui, à l’œil humain, semble vide et même hostile. La recherche suit un protagoniste qui vit et se promène à Paris, en particulier dans le Quartier Latin. Des fragments représentent la façon dont ce protagoniste pense à Paris, qui est en effet un personnage central, au passé et au présent de la ville.Jonathan Locke Hart fait de Paris à la fois un endroit et un personnage, et explore les possibilités du roman. La recherche est lié à son recueil de poésie Poèmes de Paris, publié chez L’Harmattan. Les deux livres sont des explorations de ceux qui parlent et de ceux qui racontent, de leurs caractères, sentiments, pensées, expériences.
