Tres ensayos acer¬ca del pensamiento clásico griego, dos publicados con anterioridad en su lengua original y uno inédito, hacen confluir aquí los clásicos —y contem¬poráneos— temas de la naturaleza, el amor, la diferencia sexual, la materia y lo femenino, entre otros. Las reflexiones de Bianchi nos introducen en el camino abierto por la teoría feminista, que ha hecho de la noción de natu¬raleza un nuevo campo de batalla. En disputa con la ya paradigmática tesis performativa de Judith Butler, el trabajo de Bianchi también se encuentra en tensión con materialismos monistas y atomistas, ofreciendo una entrada deconstructiva y fenomenológica renovada a la cuestión de la physis griega, así como una sintomática lectura del eros aristotélico.Emanuela Bianchi es profesora asociada de literatura comparada en la Universidad de Nue¬va York. Sus áreas de investigación son los estudios clásicos, los estudios de género y la se¬xualidad. Es autora del libro The Feminine Symptom: Aleatory Matter in the Aristotelian Cosmos (Fordham University Press, 2014), editora de Is Feminist Philosophy Philosophy? (Northwest¬ern University Press, 1999) y co-editora de Antiquities Beyond Humanism (Oxford University Press, 2019).
