She seaches all over to find the cause and possible cure. Then at last she sees Mommy and remembers how loved she is, so she holds Mommy's hand, loves her back, and 'this restores her kisses smack.'Each book's cover is the other's back cover, but inverted, so when you reach the middle page, the girls are upside down facing one another and holding hands, chanting, 'Sister, sister without fail, flip the book and read my tale.'At this point the reader can close the book and flip it over and read the other story back to the middle again. 3
