La Desaparición forzada en Colombia es producto de la violencia acaecida los últimos sesenta años, el conflicto armado interno, el abuso de poder de los gobiernos de turno, y hasta la delincuencia, le han aportado a este fenómeno social que aqueja a miles de familias víctimas de este flagelo, las cuales reclaman justicia, verdad, memoria y reparación, en este marco se recupera la memoria del sensible caso de la ambientalista Sandra Viviana Cuellar Gallego y sus luchas por el agua de la ciudad de Santiago de Cali. Hace parte de una revisión documental de prensa y notas periodísticas que circulan en medios locales y nacionales, para efectos de esta investigación se filtra información de la red de los últimos 14 años, sobre el caso de la desaparición forzada de la Ingeniera Ambiental Sandra Viviana Cuéllar Gallego, el pasado 17 de febrero de 2011, caso que aún no ha sido esclarecido por las autoridades competentes, además, del registro de entrevistas semiestructuradas aplicadas a un grupo focal que presentan las siguientes características; amigos personales de la desaparecida, activistas ambientalistas de la ciudad, muralistas, y Defensores de derechos humanos.
