Ces résultats préliminaires sur la prévalence de la DPP chez les femmes ayant accouché au CHUB de la dépression post-partum six semaines après l’accouchement au CHUB de 10,6 %. 23,3 % étaient âgées de ≤ 24 ans. 13,3 % étaient célibataires, 11,7 % avaient terminé leurs études primaires et 28,3 % étaient sans emploi.La grossesse récente a été déclarée non désirée par 20 % des répondantes, et le soutien du partenaire a été jugé insuffisant par 10 % d’entre elles. La césarienne a été le mode d’accouchement le plus courant (76,7 %), et 13,3 % des femmes se sont déclarées insatisfaites du sexe de leur enfant. Presque toutes les femmes (96,7 %) ont allaité exclusivement leur enfant, et 3,3 % ont souffert de maladies mineures.
