En el mundo, una de las lenguas más difundidas es la española, por tanto, cada día tiene mayor importancia el estudio del español como idioma extranjero. Las exigencias sociales contemporáneas crean necesidades y expectativas en los docentes, lo cual convoca a la reflexión acerca de la efectividad de la práctica educativa en la enseñanza del español como lengua extranjera y uno de los aspectos fundamentales en que se trabaja es en el cultural, pues facilita la integración de los estudiantes en su nuevo entorno social. Lo expresado anteriormente redundará en la calidad del proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje, pues a lo cognitivo y lo comunicativo se une el aspecto cultural durante el proceso docente, imprescindible para que el extranjero pueda integrarse plenamente al idioma. Se presenta en esta obra, un material contentivo de un conjunto de actividades y sugerencias metodológicas para el trabajo con los referentes culturales en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje del español como lengua extranjera, que refuercen el valor didáctico y cultural que revela la relación lengua-cultura-sociedad.
