Una cronistoria attenta ed esaustiva che, attraverso un approccio naturalistico e lo scrupoloso esame degli atti storici, porta alla luce nuovi dati di fondamentale importanza per l’identificazione della misteriosa belva antropofaga. Il testo è stato revisionato ad ottobre 2011, grazie a nuove documentazioni storiche, etologiche e scientifiche che rendono ancora più interessante la ricerca svolta. Hanno collaborato cattedratici di varie università italiane.
