Urn dem Leser eventuelle Doppelarbeit zu ersparen, ist schlieglich zu vermerken, dag die Kapitel 1 und 6 der vorliegenden Arbeit neu geschrieben worden sind, die Kapitel 3-5 in einer yom Material her zum Teil umfangreicheren Weise auch an­ demorts behandelt worden sind (Zimmermann 1981; 1979a; 1978), teilweise aber auch hier fortgefiihrt sind und dag das Kapitel 2 eine Umarbeitung eines vor kurzem erschienenen Zeitschriftenaufsatzes darstellt (Zimmermann 1980b; mein entspre­ chender Dank gilt Verlag und Herausgebem des Archivs fiir Rechts-und Sozialphilo­ sophie). Erstmalig wird hier in deutscher Sprache versucht, die Forschungen iiber Krisen, militarische Staatsstreiche und Revolutionen im Zusammenhang zu behan­ deln.
