Unser Ziel war es, in einer retrospektiven Studie die Merkmale der körperlichen Gewalt gegen Frauen in der Ehe zu untersuchen, um präventive Maßnahmen zur Bewältigung dieses Problems im Bereich der öffentlichen Gesundheit vorschlagen zu können. Im Allgemeinen spielt der Arzt eine wichtige Rolle bei der medizinischen und forensischen Betreuung von Frauen, die Opfer von körperlicher Gewalt in der Ehe geworden sind, insbesondere durch die Überweisung an multidisziplinäre medizinische, psychologische, soziale und gerichtliche Hilfe, die Meldung des Angriffs an die Justizbehörden und die Erstellung einer ärztlichen Bescheinigung über die beobachteten Verletzungen.
