Er zeigt erstmals die Übertragbarkeit der Theorien für kommunale Koalitionsbildungsprozesse und erweitert diese mit spezifisch lokalen Faktoren. Darüber hinaus werden notwendige Voraussetzungen für die Bildung schwarz-grüner Koalitionen und dabei typische Verhaltensmuster der Akteure bei den Koalitionsverhandlungen und bei der Ausgestaltung von Koalitionsvereinbarungen identifiziert.
