'Some figures emerged on the edge of the graveyard as if they had been summoned from the Gates of Hell. They circled McCall in a tight group. The youth collapsed to the ground. The second assailant swung a chain at McCall’s head. He sidestepped the vicious blow and sent the assailant to his knees. He grabbed a switchblade from the first assailants hand. Using a Butterfly kick McCall threw the marauder back into a brick wall. He slid down it. The youth staggered away. The remaining hoodlum was carrying the ornate crossbow. McCall disarmed him and brought him to his knees. The crossbow clattered to the ground. McCall turned around in a circle to face more of the savage attackers.' Michael Sloan has written over 300 hours of primetime television including such cult TV series as 'The Equalizer.' (which he created), the original 'Battlestar Galactica', the 'Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew Mysteries', new episodes of 'Alfred Hitchcock Presents', 'Kung Fu: The Legend Continues' and 'Mystery Woman'. He has written and produced several features including 'Moments', 'Alien Agent' and the 'Art of War II: Betrayal starring Wesley Snipes. He had a successful thriller play 'Underground' mounted in the West End of London.
