Hi there! My name is Kissimmee Parr (but I just have everyone call me Kassie). Every summer my family goes to our giant summer house called Pristol Hall in Newport, Rhode Island. That's what 'proper' families do. But I don't like the 'rules of society,' so I rebel and do things like climb trees and make friends with the servants. This year, 1895, is going to be extra exciting because my cousin May is coming to live at Beechcliffe, only a few streets down from me. That means I'll have a fellow rebel around!
