ABOUT THE BOOKKingdom Poetry is a product of my desire to use my God-given talent to serve the Lord. I have always thought of using gift of prose poetry to write a unique book of Christian teachings in such a way as to attract wide readership. The poems are highly simplified and touch various topical issues in modern Christianity, ranging from homosexuality to unity in the body of Christ. There are other poems in the book that are dedicated to holy engagements; wedding; new-born baby; birthday; graduation ceremony; conflicts in Christian homes and Christian home-calling. Bearing in mind all classes of English readers, I have employed the use of simple English and picture illustrations to ensure that the book does not look academic, and thereby discourage readers. I permit free use of the poems ONLY at Christian gatherings and/or for Christian purposes.Moses Oladapo Adio ABOUT THE AUTHOURThe author, Moses Oladapo Adio was born in the year 1962 in Ibadan, Nigeria. ‘There’s a touch of both Dickinson and Larkin in Jennifer Chrystie’s mature exhumation of the tales and tropes of family. The collection arcs from, at one extreme, the parsimonies of the household, to the transce...

  • One Kiss
    Edward V Bonner
The very title of Edward V. Bonner's first volume of poetry, One Kiss (Ingram, 2015), suggests some ways in which the poems inside balance the universal with the particular. Most of the poems examine the themes of beauty and risk, pleasure and danger, in the context of one of three kinds of relationships: to romantic partners, to the spiritual world, and to the world of nature....
