Reverend Ricky A. Bready, Sr. is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. He received a diploma in Bible from the American Baptist College of the American Baptist Theological Seminary in Nashville, Tennessee and a Bachelors Degree in Bible and Science from Bethany Bible College and a Masters in Ministry from Bethany Seminar of Dothan, Alabama. He teaches Evangelism in the Congress of Christian Education for the General Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia, Inc, Ministers’ Division, Ushers Ministry, and Youth Convention. Reverend Bready also has taught Evangelism for 5 years in the Fine Arts Division, and is currently teaching Discipleship and Developing New Members Ministry-Closing the Back Door in the Discipleship Division of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc., Congress of Christian Education. He serves as the State Director of Evangelism for SWAT (Saints With A Testimony) and Church Growth with the General Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia (appointed November 1997 in Albany, Georgia and has served for 11 years.Reverend Bready was appointed Southeastern Regional Director and Vice Chairman of Regions of the National Baptist USA, Inc. Board of Evangelism (December 2009). Reverend Bready is a member and Associate Minister of the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church of Albany, Georgia. He was a former Associate Minister of Bethel Baptist Church of Cincinnati, Ohio; former Pastor of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia, Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Baker County Georgia and Tremont Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Savannah, Georgia. Reverend Bready was the pastor and organizer of the Reconciliation Missionary Baptist Church, Savannah.He is married to Carolyn Carter Bready and is the father of five children and proud grandfather of eight. Reverend Bready loved to teach and preach God’s Word, especially in the areas of Discipleship, Lifestyle and Street Evangelism.
