(About the Author) Todd Love Ball Jr. wrote this story from his heart. 'My wife is from Poland. I happen to be a black American, and we have had some great experiences. I wanted to write a good story and be able to mix in some of our experiences. Readers will get to know us as a couple in real life.' The author is originally from Los Angeles, but spent most of his adult life in Illinois. 'The interesting part about the book is there is a heavy Polish influence, and Illinois and Chicago have the most Polish people, two million, aside from Poland itself.'
