The scientific monograph is devoted to the problem of the role of ethno-political factors in the consolidation of the nomadic tribes of Pityanshan and Sayano-Altai in the VIII-XIV centuries. The book broadly covers the problems of origin and formation of the Kyrgyz ethnos. It analyzes migration processes, ethno-political, ethnogenetic, ethno-cultural relations of the Yenisei Kyrgyz with neighboring nomadic tribes and states in the Middle Ages.
