'Just the Facts' textbooks are an alternative to expensive traditional textbooks. The books are unique, since color photos and PowerPoint presentations that complement each chapter are available to the student and the instructor by using the URL to a Google Drive folder. Just the Facts: Introduction to Aquaculture Science includes 24 chapters. These chapters cover the history and geography of aquaculture, common aquatic animals and plants, anatomy of cultured aquatic animals, spawning, marketing, culturing of various aquatic species, nutrition and feeding, health management, diseases, water management, systems used for culture, and aquaculture business. Besides complementary PowerPoint presentations, each chapter also includes a short self-assessment.
