This is a true account pertaining to a portion of a young child's life up until the time she receached the age of eighteen. How she triumphed over the odds of life that came up against her.At age nine she and her siblings were given away by their mother. The young girl was chosen to live with an aunt who was a strict disciplinarian, while the other children went to live in an orphanage. The story goes on to tell how she and two of her younger siblings venture to New York City seeking the whereabouts of their mother, only to be told by the mother's friend that their mother was not interested in seeing them.As time progressed and the girl reached the age of eighteen, true love enters her life. A yiung soldier returns from a tour of duty overseas, and upon seeing the young woman, who he remembered as being a child when he left for overseas, returns to find a blossomed young woman that he very much desires, and begins to pursue her. Their love for each other grows rapidly during the months that follow. He proposes to her and they begin making plans for their marriage much to her aunt's objection. When plans went amiss, the young man would alway find a way to assure the young woman that things would work out fine for them because they were meant for each other. On their wedding day when their plans went awry, almost causing the marraige not to culminate, he was there to assure her that everything would be allright. There is a lesson: If you endure until the end persevere until the end, good things will come you way.
