John Rawlsentwickelt hierzu das Konzept eines „Vertrages der Gesellschaft der Völker'.Rawls strebt im Gegensatz zu Kant somit einen Völkerbund und keinen Völkerstaat an.Im Folgenden soll zunächst kurz auf die wichtigsten Aspekte der Einleitung eingegangenwerden.Des Weiteren werde ich mich mit den ersten drei Paragraphen des Werkes befassen. Hierin formuliert Rawls die für eine gerechte Gesellschaft notwendigen Grundsätze, erläutert warum er ein Recht der Völker und nicht ein Recht der Staaten anstrebt und erklärt darüber hinaus sein Darstellungsmodell des Urzustandes.
