Joey’s Vacation is the story of an eight-year-old boy who is not happy with the move he feels he is forced to make. He is the youngest of five boys and has to wear hand-me-downs. The family moves to a small town in Missouri. He does not want to move and causes problems with the rest of the family. His mother advises him to pretend he is on a vacation. He likes the idea and ventures out to have fun, having different occupations with friends he meets. Sometimes he is naughty and sometimes he is just having a good time. This is a good story for everyone in the family.
