Dans une Afrique marquée par une croissance démographique rapide, la RDC se distingue comme l’un des pays où la jeunesse constitue une véritable majorité silencieuse , dont la voix, lorsqu’elle s’exprime, peut changer le cours de l’histoire nationale.D’un point de vue socio-politique, la jeunesse congolaise occupe une place ambivalente. D’un côté, elle est souvent présentée comme l’avenir de la nation , une force capable d’impulser l’innovation, de transformer la gouvernance et de moderniser l’économie nationale. De l’autre, elle demeure enfermée dans une réalité difficile : chômage massif, marginalisation dans les instances décisionnelles, instrumentalisation politique. Ce paradoxe confère à la jeunesse congolaise une identité sociale complexe : elle est à la fois actrice essentielle du changement et victime de systèmes politiques qui la réduisent souvent à un rôle de spectatrice ou de simple exécutante.
