All that changed on a church retreat.Jacob Crater is a young man from the other side of the tracks who was never popular. He has special mental and physical abilities which he learned from bitter experience to conceal. His abilities are coveted by people who have no ethics or morality. He was abused and tortured by a science that could never explain what happened to him. One church retreat will expand his abilities and change his destiny. A kidnapping will change a lot in all three of them. Their lives and destinies will change because of extra-ordinary circumstances.Jacob Crater will stand up to the world. Brenda Walden will stand up to an extraordinary situation.All this is because Jessica is the nexus. She will remain the pivotal character in this tale.
