This story is a Frontier novel taking place in the late 1800s, a few years following the Civil War.Jesse is a woman of her time and a pioneer in the struggle for equalization of the genders.Content to be a wife and mother her world is suddenly torn upside down and inside out by a small gang of ruthless thieves and murderers. Can a woman find the inner strength to set right a wrong that would drive her to do nearly unthinkable things? Jesse has an answer- an inborn will to see justice done, she alone, becomes judge, jury and executioner. Follow her travels and as she finds the strength to go on following such adversity. There is no Knight in Shining Armor to save her, yet, in the end, she may have found someone to share an equal kinship with.
