This trip to old Atlantis is a funny, read aloudbook. Not quite satire, and no evilspooks or spells, we find many similarities between our times and theirs. This discovery adventure follows a younggirl of the brown race finding her way into a career of battling reptileinvasions of their cities. We learnculture and values of those times under the warm embrace of fiction, and canmake our own conclusions about the matters of theology, ceremony, conflict andthe power of friendship that Jena encounters. This is a fun way to get there without paragraph long sentences orsuggestive themes, although there is some violence here and there. But that’s what you get with reptoid invasions. And she finds that even those can havealternate endings.
