Trong giới hạn một tập sách nhỏ, chúng tôi không thể trích đăng tất cả các bài viết phản ánh về con người, về hành trình Đối Thoại và Phục vụ trải dài suốt gần 20 năm và trên khắp cả nước từ Bắc chí Nam, với rất nhiều hoa trái của tình yêu thương bác ái mà Ông đã gieo hái cả trong những tháng ngày đau yếu nặng nề. Các bài viết in lại trong tập này, chúng tôi cố gắng giữ gần như nguyên tác ban đầu, trừ vài trường hợp mạn phép lược bỏ những đoạn ngắn (giới thiệu thêm về tước hiệu) để tránh trùng lặp với các bài khác. Hơn nữa, phần lớn là người ngoài Công Giáo, nên đôi chỗ tác giả sử dụng câu chữ nhà đạo không hoàn toàn chuẩn xác, chúng tôi cũng xin giữ nguyên văn. Rất mong được thông cảm.Hy vọng trong một tương lai gần nhất có thể, chúng tôi có dịp giới thiệu sâu và thực đầy đủ với bạn đọc về những việc Ông đã đóng góp vào thành quả phát triển đời sống Giáo hội Công giáo Việt Nam.Trân trọng.
