Japans Wirtschaft ist im höchsten Maße abhängig von Rohstoffen und Treibstoffen. Der kleine Bereich Landwirtschaft ist subventioniert und geschützt wobei Japan etwa 60% der Lebensmittel importiert.Anhand weniger Wirtschaftsdaten lässt sich erkennen, dass Japan noch immersolide Zahlen vorweist, die teils erheblich besser sind als die Deutschen Werte.Japan ist seit Jahren ein wichtiger Handelspartner für Deutschland.
