Jakob Tirado: Geschichtlicher Roman Aus Der Zweiten Halfte Des Sechszehten Jahrhunderts (1867) is a historical novel written by Philippson, Ludwig. The book is set in the second half of the 16th century and follows the story of Jakob Tirado, a young man who is born into a family of Spanish Jews who have been forced to convert to Christianity. The novel explores themes of identity, religion, and persecution. Philippson, a German-Jewish historian and writer, was known for his works on Jewish history and culture.
