Jakość życia (QOL), zarówno w krajach rozwijających się, jak i rozwiniętych, cieszy się coraz większym zainteresowaniem różnych dyscyplin, takich jak planowanie, geografia, socjologia, ekonomia, psychologia, nauki polityczne, medycyna behawioralna, marketing i zarządzanie. Z perspektywy urbanistów, miasta lub miasteczka są centrum gospodarki, polityki, handlu i innych działań. Traktat i identyfikacja czynników, które mogą wpływać na jakość życia ludzi w wybranych miastach strefowych. W oparciu o losowanie warstwowe wybrano 809 głów gospodarstw domowych, tworząc pięć miast w regionie jako warstwę. Analiza czynnikowa, binarna i porządkowa regresja logistyczna zostały wykorzystane w analizie badania. Analiza głównych składowych wykazała, że sześć wymiarów QOL zostało wyodrębnionych z 20 subiektywnych atrybutów; nazwanych jako: mieszkaniowe, ekonomiczne, środowiskowe, bezpieczeństwo i ochrona sąsiedztwa, więzi społeczne i jakość usług publicznych. Populacją docelową tego badania są gospodarstwa domowe mieszkające w wybranych miastach strefowych. Wybrana próba jest reprezentatywna dla grupy populacji. Zakłada się, że głowa dorosłego gospodarstwa domowego odzwierciedla odczucia wszystkich pozostałych członków.
