Na jakość życia (JZ) pacjentów cierpiących na POChP nieustannie wpływa ta choroba, a czynniki determinujące tę jakość były dotychczas przedmiotem kontrowersji. Celem niniejszego badania jest ocena jakości życia pacjentów z POChP oraz zidentyfikowanie czynników prognostycznych jej pogorszenia. W ramach badania przekrojowego przeprowadzonego w dwóch głównych poradniach pulmonologicznych w Sousse. Jakość życia mierzono za pomocą zatwierdzonej tunezyjskiej wersji kwestionariusza Short Form 36 (SF-36), a dane kliniczne i socjodemograficzne zebrano na podstawie formularza do gromadzenia danych. Wyniki: Oceniono 335 pacjentów o średnim wieku 66,76±11,64 lat. Pacjenci z pogorszoną fizyczną i psychiczną jakością życia stanowili odpowiednio 52% i 50,7% całej populacji. Analiza wielowymiarowa wykazała niezależnie powiązane czynniki.
