Nach einer kurzen Inhaltsangabe werden die Begriffe 'saelde und êre'und ′aventiure′ erläutert,da sie zum Verständnis des Iweins eine wichtige Funktion inne haben und in unserem Sprachgebrauch nicht mehr existieren.Dann wird der Aufbau und die Komposition unter dem Themenaspekt aufgeführt. Schließlich wird anhand der Kämpfe seine Rückkehr und Wiedereinsetzung gezeigt.Einen Vergleich mit anderen Heldenepen führe ich nicht an, da sonst der Rahmen der Arbeit gesprengt werden würde.
