Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2004 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Ältere Deutsche Literatur, Mediävistik, Note: 1,75, Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main (Institut für Deutsche Sprache und Literatur II), Veranstaltung: Hauptseminar: Ritual und Text, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Rituale und Symbole waren auch schon im Mittelalter in entsprechender Ausprägung vorhanden und spielten vor allem in der höfisch geprägten Adelswelt, eine große Rolle. Eines der am häufigsten praktizierten Rituale war das Ritual zur Beendigung von Konflikten, welches in der Zeit ab Ludwig dem Frommen entstand. Im Verlauf dieser Ausarbeitung wird untersucht, ob das besagte Unterwerfungsritual auch in Hartmann von Aues Iwein, enthalten ist und wie stark denn seine Ausprägungen sind.
