A poetry anthology by Steve Jones, set alight by observations of humanity whilst visiting various real ale pubs in Walsall and the Black Country. Steve is a father to three adult children and has been happily married to Elaine for 47 years. His musings on life contain observations of family love and daily glimpses into his depressive humour. Emotive and touching, readers are sure to find a poem which relates to the feelings encountered in everyday life. Steve and Elaine have recently downsized from the family home to a bungalow within the same village. Having sorted through three decades of accumulated belongings, added to by the estates of both their parents, Steve has a newfound desire to enjoy moments and experiences, rather than 'stuff'. His observations of loving gestures, shared grief and the everyday monotony of life bring a well-rounded view to his poetry.
