As a youth worker in Pittsburgh he trained fourchildren to sing as the group of 'Don & the Pennies.' His Journey continues ontowards fatherhood as he becomes an actor in New York, making choices that leadhim to his one true vocation that of being a loving father and husband. He haswonderful meetings with Carol Burnett, Deborah Howe, author of Bunnicula, whodied quite young . He has discovered the wonder of prayer and of developing atP.A.T.H. that will help us on the Journey to the Stars. He has plunged to the depthsof despair and to the wonder of the heavens. In a few short words he tells teenagersthey are the hope of the world and asks all to honor the sanctity of the children ofthe world and to join together to provide them sanctuary. He is the director of theannual Peace at Last concert and charts the first inspiration to the actual event fromhis love of the music of Stephen Foster to the sharing with the world the wonderfulwork of Anton Dvorak who turned Foster’s simple 'Way Down Upon the SwaneeRiver' (Old folks at home) into a choral symphonic piece. He writes of a new visionfor this earth, a place where we certainly recognize our function here is to totallybelieve in all the world coming to the realization that, like Martin Luther King, Jr.,who he stood shoulder to shoulder with in 1965, will be not only free at last butexperience peace at last.
