After dropping him off, the traveling pair is put through torment by two sea scorpions that have it out for them. Later, they finally find out several shocking reasons why Breeva has sent for them. For one, she intends to explore a forbidden forest area on dry land that no other horseshoe crab would dare go. Certain unexpected snags happen while she explores, but she has no idea that while she is away, a major confrontation is brewing between the sea scorpions and the cephalopods, Omnu’s family of creatures. Ingenious strategies are implemented to purge the nasty sea scorpions out of their cherished bay territory. Both Omnu and Rin want to help out with the cause and are glad Breeva is away from the clash!
