'It was a real joy and a blessing to research and write both volumes of Israel: Walking in Holy Footsteps. We learned a lot about the country of Israel through this journey. We hope that you, too, will enjoy reading this book. We have included many picture photos, maps, Bible quotations, magazine articles, and book summaries to add to the enjoyment of your walk through Israel. This first volume contains all kinds of historical, biblical, and contemporary information about Israel that we gathered and organized with pictures. In our second volume, Israel, Walking Through Israel, Volume 2, we share our personal insights, photos, and travel observations about the land, the people, and the biblical insights from our trip.'-Winkie and Harold Johnston 'Winkie' Johnston was born in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
