Years go by and eventually she begins to see crops replanted and a new home partially built, but once again her beloved husband is taken from her and forced into military service for the British in a foreign land. Finally, despair sets in. Losing her husband, along with all the secrets that she has kept all this time, becomes too much to bear. Will she let new love save her?This is Isobel’s story.
