This is a light and personable account of a short tour of four main Greek islands--Corfu, Santorini, Naxos, and Paros--with brief excursions to three others. The focus is on sightseeing, getting a sense of the basic history of the islands, and especially on the delights to be found in getting to know some Greek people and their wonderful food. The book is lavishly illustrated with 100 of the author’s photographs inside and another on the cover.
