Das IoT und die Industrie 4.0 ermöglichen eine Effizienzsteigerung durch die Integration von mit dem Internet verbundenen Geräten und Gadgets, die Studenten, Lehrern und anderen Fachleuten im Lehr- und Lernprozess helfen. Es wird gezeigt, dass das IoT die Möglichkeit bietet, einen Fernzugriff auf Lehrmittel zu ermöglichen, damit die Schüler ihre Zweifel während des Studiums an entfernten Orten klären und Informationen mit ihren Lehrern und Klassenkameraden auf speziellen Plattformen austauschen können. Darüber hinaus zeigen die Autoren, dass die gleiche Anwendung in der Industrie 4.0 eingesetzt werden kann. Die Autoren sind Forscher am Telekommunikationslabor/LABTEL und am Labor für angewandte Forschung/LPA an der Bundesuniversität von Santa Catarina/UFSC/Campus Araranguá/SC und haben Erfahrung in den Bereichen Telekommunikationssysteme, Industrie 4.0, Fernversuche, eingebettete Systeme und IKT und ihre Entwicklungen.
