O impacto da energia solar é uma das grandes preocupações do mundo actual. A utilização correcta da energia solar nos estilos de vida modernos abre um vasto caminho para novas tecnologias. Esta disposição inclui exames e planos de um inversor isolado ligado à rede para aplicações fotovoltaicas (PV). Os conversores tradicionais utilizados, como o buck e o boost, têm certas desvantagens, pelo que optámos pela topologia flyback melhorada para aplicações de alta potência, particularmente com uma fonte fotovoltaica. É apresentado um inversor ligado à rede, isolado e de tipo central dependente da topologia do conversor flyback. A topologia flyback funciona num modo de operação de corrente descontínua (DCM) e a estrutura intercalada é uma solução bem sucedida para aumentar o nível de potência, o que pode minimizar a ondulação da corrente e reduzir o tamanho dos componentes passivos. É desenvolvido um modelo de simulação do sistema inversor proposto e o seu bom desempenho é verificado com base nos resultados da simulação e na sua implementação no modelo de protótipo de hardware. O seguimento da potência máxima da energia solar é facilitado através do seguimento do ponto de potência máxima para cada painel fotovoltaico com custos e tempos de manutenção reduzidos.
