The foundational basis of Christian theology is the acceptance and confession of the uncreated God. Christian teaching emphasizes that we have one God who is at the same time Triune: 'One in Trinity and Trinity in Oneness.' The divine essence is one, and there are three persons (hypostases) in the Holy Trinity. The entire dogmatic teaching of Orthodoxy rests upon the theophanies of the Triune God.Through the divine Economy, humanity was able to know God and refer to theology. Therefore, God is one and Triune. One of the most fundamental doctrines of the Orthodox Church is the doctrine of the Trinity, along with the Christological and Pneumatological doctrines.According to the Trinitarian teaching, God is One and at the same time Triune. God is one in essence or nature. God is Triune in persons or hypostases. The three persons are one God, and the one God is three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Father loves the Son and gives Him everything. The Son loves the Father and reciprocates everything. Finally, the Holy Spirit, who proceeds only from the Father, is common to both the Son and the Father.
