Ziel dieser Studie war es, das Wissen und das Bewusstsein der Schüler für Internetwerbung in Nigeria zu ermitteln. Es wurde eine Umfrage durchgeführt. Der grundlegende theoretische Rahmen, auf dem die Arbeit basierte, war der Technologiedeterminismus. Es wurden vier Forschungsfragen zur empirischen Auswertung vorgelegt; dabei wurden 790 Befragte befragt, die wissenschaftlich aus der Bevölkerung ausgewählt wurden. Die Ergebnisse dieser Studie zeigen, dass die Schüler sich der Internetwerbung bewusst sind und über sie Bescheid wissen. Sie wurden dadurch beeinflusst, haben aufgrund von Internetwerbung Einkäufe getätigt und ziehen Internetwerbung anderen Werbemedien vor. Abschließend wird empfohlen, dass die Regierung Internetdienste überall verfügbar machen sollte. Dies wird Schülern, die im Land im Internet surfen möchten, sehr helfen.
