Ausländische Versicherer können ihre Produkte daher heute ohne weiteres im Inland vertreiben.Die Versicherungspraxis benötigt jetzt Vorschriften, die das auf Versicherungsverträge mit Auslandsberührung anwendbare Recht festlegen. Der deutsche Gesetzgeber hat die einschlägigen Vorgaben der EG als Artikel 7-15 in das Einführungsgesetz zum Versicherungsvertragsgesetz eingestellt. Das vorliegende Werk enthält die erste ausführliche Kommentierung dieser Bestimmungen. Hinweise auf das Int. Versicherungsprozeßrecht sowie auf die im Verhältnis zu Staaten außerhalb des EWR geltende Rechtslage runden die Darstellung ab.
