Interfaith Just Peacemaking is a collected work by 27 Jewish, Muslim, and Christian scholars and religious leaders on the ten 'practice norms' of the peacemaking paradigm called 'Just Peace.' Just Peace theory, like the paradigm it most resembles, Just War theory, is a list of specific practices that are applied to concrete contexts. In Interfaith Just Peacemaking, a wholly new work, each 'practice norm' is a separate chapter with a general introduction and then commentary by one Christian, Jewish, and Muslim contributor and a short conclusion. It is intended both as a general introduction to Jewish, Christian and Muslim views on just peacemaking, and as a textbook for interfaith and peace studies courses.

Women’s Bodies as Battlefield demonstrates that the ’war on women’ is not a metaphor but rather a global pandemic of violence against women that constitutes an actual war. In this global war on women, female bodies literally serve as places of battle. The reality of women’s bodies as battlefield connects the literal and ideological violence perpetrated against women with the li...

In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve were tempted to take a bite out of an apple that promised them the 'knowledge of good and evil.' The age of the Internet has speeded up human knowledge, and it also provides even more temptation to know more than may be good for us. Americans have been right at the f...
