Ein im Erregungssystem des Synchrongenerators installierter Leistungsstabilisator (PSS) verbessert die Kleinsignalstabilität des Stromnetzes, indem er niederfrequente Schwingungen im Stromnetz dämpft. Dies geschieht durch die Bereitstellung zusätzlicher Störsignale in einem Rückkopplungspfad zum Erregungssystem des Generators. In unserem Projekt untersuchen wir verschiedene konventionelle PSS-Designtechniken (CPSS) sowie moderne adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy-Designtechniken. Wir passen ein linearisiertes Einmaschinen-Unendlicher-Bus-Modell für den Entwurf und die Simulation des PSS und des Spannungsreglers (AVR) an. Wir verwenden drei verschiedene Eingangssignale im Rückkopplungspfad (PSS), nämlich Drehzahlschwankung (w), elektrische Leistung (Pe) und Integral der Beschleunigungsleistung (Pe*w), und überprüfen die Ergebnisse in jedem Fall. Für die Simulationen verwenden wir drei verschiedene lineare Entwurfstechniken, nämlich den Root-Locus-Entwurf, den Frequenzgängen-Entwurf und den Polplatzierungsentwurf; die bevorzugte nichtlineare Entwurfstechnik ist der adaptive neuro-fuzzy-basierte Reglerentwurf. Für den Entwurf und die Simulationen wird das MATLAB-Paket mit Control System Toolbox und SIMULINK verwendet.
