本書為一技術報告。主要介紹開源雲端運算平台的建立與物聯網系統整合。透過雲端運算資源在遠端建立虛擬機器，並基於虛擬機器與網際網路，結合位於在地端的物聯網感測元件及組件，經過智慧演算法的計算後，提供不同系統使用者客製化、差異化的服務。本技術報告主題內容分為：1. 前端物聯網IOT元件之設計與改良；2. 開源雲端運算平台建置；以及3. 整合物聯網與雲端之智慧型系統與服務開發。透過電子產品編碼特性區分並辨識出各個物聯網感測元件及組件；本技術報告並提供安裝、設定等雲端服務套件之教學步驟，讀者可利用本技術報告內容自行建立雲端叢集服務，包含資訊或演算法服務之虛擬機器、Hadoop或雲端資料庫；而結合雲端運算智慧系統與在地端的物聯網設備，將可以更有效、更方便的提供使用者優質的服務模式。簡銘伸，自2018年起任教於國立虎尾科技大學資訊工程系副教授迄今，2000年時自新竹國立交通大學電機與控制工程系學士畢業，2007年於高雄國立中山大學資訊工程系取得博士學位。畢業後於2007-2008之間，曾於飛信半導體股份有限公司與外商International Megatrend Smart Technology擔任技術顧問，並於2008年在高雄樹德科技大學電腦與通訊工程學系擔任助理教授。作者目前的主要研究領域包含物聯網、雲端運算、電子化教學與學習、以及人工智能系統。  3
