What would you do if you were just given the opportunity of a lifetime to become as famous as artists like Van Gogh or Leonardo Da Vinci? A young artist named Conner has finally gotten this chance to become more than just an artist. With the opening of the new gallery at the Royal Crest Museum. Conner is excited and hopes to take this opportunity to inspire a new generation. However his art agent Mr. Brooks holds all the strings. With promises of travelling the world and making more money than he can imagine. This seems like a dream to finally break free but at what cost? Feeling the pressure of creating the main centrepieces. He feels he has lost a bit of the magic he used to have. His dreams even begin to haunt him as well. However, with the help of his family, he opens a box from his past with a plush horse and other treasures. To take his mind off things, he tells his daughter Skylar stories about his past and growing up on his family's horse farm. He tells of the adventures of his movie star mother and sword craftsman father and the experiences of growing up with some extraordinary parents. He even recalls a dear golden friend with some unique talents that could bring some illumination to his art. Will Conner be able to satisfy everyone with his idea for the main attraction? Can he come up with something completely unique? Most importantly, can he make children feel appreciation for art or will his agent, Mr. Brooks make this task difficult? A story for all ages, this tale has a little something for everyone. This delightful tale takes you on a journey filled with horses, art, swords and more. A story for dreamers and those who need to be inspired.

Stuart Evans’s first novel is a comedy-of-ill-manners set in a nouveau riche milieu: a fantastic satirical performance and hyper-referential homage to masters past and present. Paul Keller is the Stephen Dedalus of the piece, the son of Robert and Sylvie, whose internal monologue is spliced into the action, and whose incestuous feelings for his sister lead to an increase in his...
