Inspirational Treasures

This inspirational book is a reality check about the issues of today’s world. A lot of us are experiencing things in our life and community that are troubling us and our children. I have experienced some of the concerns I write about and am willing to share them so others may know they are not alone. I also would like others to know as well as I do that there is hope. With hope comes hard work and discipline to get to where we want to be. I believe if we all memorize the 'Serenity Prayer', our lives would be less stressful. I also believe we all go through things for a reason. I believe that reason is so we can have a testimony in hopes of educating others. Life as we know it has not always been good. It does not matter what origin or financial status we are in, problems arise. Love can get us through it all. When we are married, we have not just ourselves to think about but others as well. Having that bond comes with comprise, understanding and discipline. When we are single, discipline is very important. The mind and body does things that are sometimes out of our control. Keeping our mind off sex is very important because we can really get to know if the opposite sex is trying to know us or the anatomy part of us. Some of us find ourselves going down the wrong path of life. This path can take us places we do not want to be. The outcome of that can be taking our own lives or someone killing us. When we find ourselves on the wrong path, we should try to turn to family and/or friends. I know sometimes family and friends are wrapped up with their own lives but someone we can respect is a good candidate as well. There are a lot of things in life we can be depressed about but cannot let it ruin our life. Depression is not always things we deal with in life. Some medications have side effects that cause depression. For that reason we must be careful of the dosage as well as the regularity. Alcohol, drugs, and gambling can cause us to be depressed also. Some things we think are pleasures can destroy our lives and the people who care about us. With a lot of us being sick, we must ask ourselves 'why so much sickness in the world?' The lives we live, the environment, and possibly the things we consume may be the answer. Growing up comes with a lot of questions. Sometimes we must live life out day by day because it does not come with a manual. Sometimes we get it right and other times we do not. As long as there are chances, we can make mistakes until we get it right. Our children are our future and we must do all we can to teach them, protect them, and to encourage them. We want them to live to get older and wiser. We also would like to live to see them get there. Children are faced with so much peer pressure and modern technology that it is easy to get caught up. Things that are meant for fun and socializing turns out to be the same thing that can hurt our children. There is always someone out there trying to under mind the original plan. In ending; take time for GOD, yourself, children, and family. Respect yourself as well as your friends. Learn to forgive, be a role model, and be mindful of others feelings.
